On October 17th, according to the 2021 Global Top 250 Energy Companies Ranking released by the data provider S&P Global Platts, ENN Energy ranked 67th, up 29 places from 2020. It ranked 11th among 23 top 100 Chinese companies and 1st among gas companies.

Founded in 1909, Platts is the world's leading provider of energy, petrochemical, metals and agricultural information and the premier source of benchmark price analysis data for these commodity markets. Platts Energy Information releases the "Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies" list since 2002, mainly based on four key financial indicators of companies’ asset value, operating income, profit, and return on investment in the previous fiscal year. The ranking is calculated according to a specific formula of Standard & Poor's, and aims to recognize and encourage energy companies that have made outstanding contributions to global energy.

Previously, ENN Energy was awarded the "Award of Excellence: Downstream" by the 2020 S&P Global Platts Global Energy Awards, the first Chinese company that ever received this honor.
