On July 13, 2006, cooperating with Xinneng Investment Group Co. Ltd and XinAo Group, XinAo Gas sponsored the Coal to Chemical project in Erdos city, Inner Mongolia, to which XinAo Gas invested 180000000 dollars with 15% of the total stock ownership.

On June 28, 2006, XinAo Gas began the IT Application program after cooperating with IBM consulting companies in developing process optimization and IT planning program. The system supplier, SAP, and the system implementer, IBM, aim to support the scale management and sustainable development by using technologies and establishing management platform.

On April 28, 2006, XinAo Gas successfully acquired Shanghai Jiuhuan Vehicle LPG Development Co. Ltd and Shanghai Jiuhuan Vehicle Gas Development Co. Ltd, and got the 54.57% and 40% stock ownership of these two companies respectively. Currently XinAo has 28 LPG Vehicle gas stations and 4 CNG gas stations in Shanghai, which amounts to 1/3 of the total vehicle gas stations in Shanghai with more than 50% of the total LPG gas supply volume in Shanghai. XinAo provides LPG to 5000 taxis and 300,000 power cars and provides natural gas to almost 300 buses in Shanghai.
