In 1986, Mr. Wang Yusuo, the Group founder set foot in the liquefied petroleum gas operation and began his exploration and experience accumulation in the energy distribution business field.
    In 1992, XinAo Gas began its city pipeline natural gas business, and its first operational project was in Langfang City, Hebei Province. It was among the first private energy distributors to engage in city pipeline gas business.
    Since 1998, the Chinese government encouraged the private enterprise investment in city infrastructures in a more cost-effective manner, under this background, XinAo Gas began to expand markets in all parts of the country on a large scale. In 1999, XinAo secured exclusive rights to operate pipeline gas business in Liaocheng of Shandong Province, Huludao of Liaoning Province.  
    On May 10, 2001, XinAo Gas Holdings was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and migrated to the Main Board of HKSE (HK2688) on June 3, 2002. It is one of the first Chinese energy distributors listed in Hong Kong Stock market.  
    After 2002, XinAo Gas secured the exclusive rights to operate pipeline gas business in cities such as Shijiazhuang, Changsha, Dongguan, Yantai and Luoyang, which proved its great potential and capability in developing and operating gas projects in big cities.
    By 2005, XinAo Gas has set up its energy distribution system with the core business of city pipeline natural gas distribution, the primary services of non-pipeline energy (CNG、LNG、LPG) delivery, vehicle refueling gas and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) distribution, with the urban residents, industrial and commercial enterprises and vehicle owners.
    In 2006, XinAo Gas was active in the pursuit of international purchase of clean energy. In addition to the registration of XinAo Energy Sales Co. Ltd, XinAo Gas got the license of importing and exporting natural gas, LPG, methanol and DME, and became the fourth enterprise with import and export license of natural gas in China after CNPC, SINOPEC and CNOOC, which admitted the company to enter the international energy trade market. The LNG plant sponsored by XinAo Gas in Beihai Weizhou Island, the fourth LNG plant in China, went into production in 2006, which ensured the gas supply in Guangdong and Guangxi Province.
    To improve the company’s management, XinAo Gas cooperated with IBM Global Service (China) Co. Ltd in 2006 to optimize management process and IT planning and launched the management consultation project, XinAo IT application project in June, 2006. Currently XinAo is the first company to combine the SAP public utility solution plan, energy solution plan and ERP in the world. The company’s operational efficiency and the resources utilization will be greatly improved after this project.
    Relying on its abundant experience and sufficient capital strength in the industry, XinAo Gas retains good development in the existing business operation as well as in the new business exploration.
